Generations and Gender Programme recognized as ESFRI Emerging Project

Pagina-navigatie:
10 March 2016

The Generations and Gender Programme (GGP) hosted at NIDI recently achieved the status of ESFRI (the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures) Emerging Project.

This was announced on 10 March 2016 at the official launch of the new ESFRI 2016 Roadmap. In doing so, ESFRI recognized the scientific merit, pan-European relevance and socio-economic impact of the GGP. With this status, the GGP is following the steps of other projects such as the European Social Survey (ESS), the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE) and the Consortium of European Social Science Data Archives (CESSDA) which have a longer history on the Roadmap and are now ESFRI Landmark Projects. For more information, see the GGP website: http://www.ggp-i.org/
